Will it break names like my_variable_name?
No. Underscores are only treated as italics when they wrap a whole word or phrase, so snake_case names are left alone.
Does it change ranges like 2010–2020?
No. En dashes are only replaced when they have spaces on both sides.
What are invisible characters?
Zero-width spaces, soft hyphens and similar marks that some tools insert. They are invisible but can break searches, links and word counts.
