Why you can trust the numbers
Text, PDFs and chats are processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and shared links carry settings, not your content.
Token counts are exact only where a real tokenizer runs. Everything else is labeled as an estimate.
Prices come from an open-source catalog, refreshed daily, with the last-verified date shown.
Questions
Are my prompts or files uploaded?
No. Text, PDFs and chats are processed in your browser. The Cost Forecaster share link contains only your settings.
How accurate are the token counts?
Exact for OpenAI models where the tokenizer loads. For other providers they are estimates, typically within 10 to 15 percent, and labeled as such.
Where do the prices come from?
From the open-source LiteLLM price catalog, refreshed daily. They are not independently verified against provider billing, so check a provider's page before committing to a budget.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for.
